On our decentralized object storage service, encryption is a default. Before any data gets uploaded to the network, it gets encrypted on your local machine. This data is only accessible via the encryption passphrase you create.
To interact with buckets/objects in the browser, the encryption key needs to be shared with the browser, which we don’t want on the Internet for security purposes.
In the future, we hope to find ways to increase usability by making buckets/objects accessible from a browser. If this is something you’re interested in, please add this request to our ideas portal so we can prioritize this feature.
